Over the last few months it has become increasingly apparent that one reason many suppliers have not taken action against the Brewers is the difficulty of organising a co-ordinated response. For many, the debts are quite small and the cost of taking individual legal action to recover those debts is prohibitive.
We have therefore created a new, private group to provide a forum where suppliers can exchange information and, hopefully, begin to liaise with one another in planning a way forward to ensure that justice prevails.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with either Matt Wardman or me personally if you have any questions about the group: we will do our best to help in whatever ways we can, but please note that we are not qualified to offer legal advice and we cannot accept any liability for any decisions (or the consequences thereof) that may emerge from the group discussions.
If you are a supplier who has been short-changed by the Brewers and their innovative business practices, please leave a comment on this post using the email address at which you would like to be contacted. Please do not include any email addresses in your comment: simply use it when leaving a comment.
Feel free to use a pseudonym if you wish to keep your identity or your company’s identity private: if we are in any doubt about your veracity, we will check before inviting you into the group.
